Description
While touring LaPorte Farms in Sebastian, Florida, I was delighted to watch a duck playfully splashing in a pond. I captured the moment the water burst high above the duck and dripped off its beak. Later I submitted this image to Peace River Electric Cooperative's 2014 magazine cover contest, and it won best of show! It was published on the cover of their Florida Currents Magazine May 2014, and then republished 3 times inside the magazine in contest promotional pages in their issues for November 2014, November 2015, and December 2015. I was delighted with the results!
