Sometimes when I go to the South Jetty in Venice, Florida the color of the water is absolutely breathtaking! This was one of the most beautiful colors I have ever seen the water. I actually had to reduce the saturation of the photo, it was really this bright aqua blue! And a dolphin and its baby went by! I took this photo from the North Jetty. It's a fun place to sit and relax, watch the boats, and go fishing. On the other side of the water you can see Jetty Jack's. This inlet opens to the Gulf of Mexico and faces west, so it is an incredible place to watch the sunset. It is a very popular place for tourists and locals to enjoy the water. When the waves are big enough this is where surfers come.

Venice is an amazing city in Florida. It sits on the Gulf of Mexico on the west coast and has a beautiful beach, jetty, and pier. You have a couple places at the coast to watch beautiful sunsets each night. Venice is just south of Sarasota and is near Englewood, Nokomis, and North Port. Venice is known as the shark tooth capital of the world because fossilized shark's teeth can be found at the beaches.
