Description
Pink flamingos move gracefully in the waters of a lagoon at Jungle Gardens in Sarasota, Florida. It is so peaceful to watch. At Jungle Gardens over 20 pink flamingos roam freely around the gardens. You can walk right up to them and feed them from your hand. It is an amazing experience! Pink flamingos are a beautiful tropical bird. In this vertical image two pink flamingos are moving their beaks back and forth in the pond, creating ripples in the water. Their curvy necks stand out against the black background. This image is peaceful and serene, giving the feeling of tranquility.

I was stunned by (and jealous of) this oh so bee-you-tee-full presentation of these gor-gee-mous flamingos, Liesl, as I went through the entries for the Reflecting Birds and Bird Shadows contest. I voted for your flamingos and am so happy you won 3d place. Now to put some more credit where it's due, the contest was sponsored by the Wild Birds of the World group! l/f
