This photo was taken by my husband, Michael Walsh, at Caspersen Beach in Venice, Florida. We were both at the beach that night taking photos at sunset, and he found this amazing group of rocks piled up on top of each other. I love how he framed this photo with the sun glowing right at the top of the rocks. He ended up getting a better shot than me that night. I was further down the beach with different rocks. We came back later to the beach so I could see this cool pile of rocks, but they had disappeared. We are not sure what happened to them, if they had been knocked down by stormy waves. I am so glad he captured this photo. He has been a great help to me, he is always on the lookout for cool places to photograph and great points of view. I am thankful he is in my life.

Caspersen Beach is a beautiful beach on the west coast of Florida overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. It is known for fossilized sharks teeth which can be easily found on the beach after storms. The Venice pier and Venice Beach are not far from here,. Also Manasota Key is south of here.
