I love the golden warm light in this photo! I took this photo at golden hour right after the sunrise in the morning. The bright sun warms my face as it rises higher in the sky. What a cheerful Florida morning! The handmade sign adds a rustic coastal charm to this image.

Normally this pier is a busy place with people, so I got up really early to get here with the beautiful light and empty pier. When I got here and noticed no one was around I quickly set up my tripod and took some photos before people walked onto the pier. I am so happy I captured this rare quiet moment before it got busy.

The Rod and Reel Pier on Anna Maria Island is a historic tourist landmark that has been open since 1947. It has a restaurant and bar with an amazing view into the Gulf of Mexico with the Sunshine Skyway Bridge in the far distance. People fish on the deck. Anna Maria Island is a beautiful quaint seaside town near Bradenton on the west coast of Florida . It has the Old Florida feel that people love so much.
