Description
The fishing pier in Venice, Florida is a great place to watch the sunset at the end of the day. It extends 700 feet out into the aqua waters of the Gulf of Mexico, and is very tall. It is located in Brohard Park at the southern end of the island of Venice. There is a restaurant called Sharky's on the end of the pier. Caspersen Beach is just down the road where fossilized sharks teeth can be found. This is one of the most popular landmarks in Venice. I did a long exposure to capture the water movement in the photo. I also have another version of this photo that is cropped differently where you see more on the top and the bottom of the image.
