Life can get crazy busy and hectic at times, and having a peaceful place to go to helps so much. Venice Beach is my happy place! Whenever I need a break from things I know where to go. It's a beautiful drive down West Venice Avenue through historic downtown Venice. Pass by some cute quaint shops, historic homes, and then you're right at the beach. Sunrise is my favorite time to go. Sitting here with my feet in the white sand is so relaxing. I hear the waves of the Gulf of Mexico gently roll towards the beach and hear the seagulls fly by. The sound of the waves makes everything melt away. I watch the sun gradually rise above the horizon and light up the sky with bright colors. It's quiet and peaceful. It's a quiet time to be at the beach. This is a moment I love to capture, and it goes quickly so I have to be there at the right moment to capture it.
