Artist's Description
This is the courthouse in downtown Sarasota, Florida. This old building has a lot of charm. I love the architectural details like the window shapes, barrel tile roof, wrought iron railings, and sculptural details. My husband took this photo at sunrise. I really like the composition he chose. I edited his photo with an impressionism painterly style. If you zoom into the image you will see brush strokes and canvas texture. I have another painterly version of this image that is without canvas texture. Sarasota is just south of Bradenton on the Gulf Coast of Florida. Nearby beaches are Siesta Key, Lido Beach, Anna Maria Island, Nokomis Beach, and Casey Key.
