I just love historic downtown Venice, Florida! It has so much charm. I love the historic architecture here. This lovely Gulf Coast city is full of old buildings from the 1920's. I enjoy taking photos here. I came here at sunset to capture this scene when the city was lit with the warmth of the sun. I had to stand on a median in-between a lot of traffic at the bridge to set up my tripod. A lot of traffic came by so I timed my photo at just the right moment. I love how the warm light lights up the scene. This is a view of the entrance of downtown Venice Avenue.
Venice is an amazing city in Sarasota County on the west coast of Florida, and is known for its love of the arts and wonderful beaches.
