Who wants to swing from the rope on this tree into the water? This reminds me of something I would see in Swiss Family Robinson. I discovered this beautiful tree at the North Jetty on Casey Key in Nokomis, Florida, just north of Venice. I came at sunrise and had the beach all to myself, it was so peaceful. The tree has many roots and branches that spread far out from its trunk. One branch stretches far out over the waters of Lyons Bay which opens to the Gulf of Mexico. You can see Turner Key in the distance. Venice has 2 jettys that parallel each other on the north side of town. Venice is in Sarasota County just south of Sarasota on the west coast of Florida.
