Description
A scene from Bathtub Beach in Jensen Beach, Florida, on the Atlantic Ocean. A "tree tunnel" of tree branches arch over the path that leads to the beach. You can hear the sounds of the waves crashing as you get closer to the end of the tunnel. The beach had thousands of shells on the sand after a recent storm. There was storm damage to some structures on the beach. An underwater scene mermaid mural was on a building at the beach. People were fishing along the shore. This photo is available in color (see "Rocky Shores, Jensen Beach").

Amazing how the lack of colour can so dramatically change the interpretation of a scene! The dark tones in the sky and water with the white waves crashing against the shore line now appear to have a more menacing appearance! LF
