The Hemingway House is one of my favorite places in Key West. I love the lush tropical landscsaping and the 2-story wrap around porch. It is a writer's haven full of inspiration. Ernest Hemingway's house had one of the only freshwater pools on the island. Ernest's office was in a separate building behind the house on the second floor. He had a 6-toed cat, and today there are many cats roaming around the home. In fact you can see one of the cats on the left side of this image. This image is also available in color. This photo was taken in Key West on our way to Europe.
