I love the warm light in this image. I waited to take the photo until the sun came down low enough to touch the edge of the pier. The yellow glow of the sun adds warm colors to the sky and creates silhouettes of people fishing at the end of the pier. The wind is still, yet the waves gracefully come towards the beach creating patterns. The golden sun sparkles on the blue water. This is a wonderful place to sit on the beach and relax, hearing the waves come in. As the sun sets the sky and colors change. The fishing pier in Venice, Florida is a great place to watch the sunset at the end of the day. The pier extends 700 feet out into the blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico, and is very tall. It is located in Brohard Park at the southern end of the island of Venice. There is a restaurant called Sharky's on the end of the pier. Caspersen Beach is just down the road where fossilized sharks teeth can be found. This is one of the most popular landmarks in Venice.
